What did you change about the review verification process?
We’ve improved our review submission process to make it easier and more efficient for couples to leave reviews on our site. Previously, if a couple wasn’t logged into The Knot, they were responsible for verifying the review via email. As of September 2024, couples are now required to create an account to leave a review in order to eliminate the email verification step and have their review posted instantly.
Why are we publishing past 2024 reviews?
Couples find reviews less than two years old to be helpful and relevant to their vendor search and selection, so we felt it was important to release reviews that were submitted since the beginning of 2024, but that were stuck in the verification process.
Releasing these reviews creates more content on your Storefront which helps with SEO and the added reviews will help couples vet your business for their needs.
Lastly, having more reviews will enable us to have more content to pull from for your AI-generated Review Summary on your Storefront to help couples quickly and effortlessly understand what stands out about you based on your past reviews.
How do you know these reviews are real?
We take spam seriously – every review goes through our spam detection process. We filter out any suspicious or fake reviews, so you can trust that the reviews we’re publishing are coming from real couples sharing their genuine experiences.
Can I dispute any of these reviews?
Yes – you have the ability to dispute any reviews left within the past two years per our review policy. See our review policy here.
Will this retroactively impact Best of Weddings?
Yes – because of the newly-added reviews, several vendors are now Best of Wedding 2024 Award winners. We have already notified all vendors who are now awardants and ensured they gain access to their winner assets.
